Layar now supports BlackBerry 7 OS!

Layar now supports the following BlackBerry devices:

BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930
BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860
BlackBerry Torch 9800/9810

The BlackBerry layar client is similar to the Layar v5.0.1 Android client with the following exceptions:

Sharing to Twitter/Facebook
Taking screenshots.
Emailing from client
User Interaction Dialogue (http://layar.pbworks.com/w/page/35910641/User-Interaction-Dialog-API-5)

All of these features will be implemented in the next version.

I cannot download to BB 9800. It tells me in the APP store that Layar is not available for my device.

The new Torch 9800 was released with BlackBerry 7OS, and these devices are able to download Layar. The older versions of the 9800, however, run on BlackBerry 6 OS and will therefore not be able to download Layar. Additionally, these older models lack the necessary hardware (accelerometer, internal compass, etc.) to run Layar.
