To find great AR content within the Layar app, you may want to start with the "Featured" list (which appears on a menu when you tap the "Layers" button from the bottom navigation). These layers are a mix of local and international layers that we think provide the coolest AR experiences around you.

You can also see what layers other people are using the most by selecting the "Popular" list (on the same menu as the "Featured" list). You can then use the top navigation buttons to select the most popular layers nearby, in your country, or worldwide. You can also search the Layar catalog using any keyword to quickly find what you’re looking for.

When you find a layer you like and want to easily revisit later, you can add it to your favorites. You can also see a list of the layers you most recently opened by tapping the "Recent" button on the main navigation menu.

After you have selected a layer to launch, hold the phone in front of you to see the digital information displayed on top of the camera view. By turning around, you can point your phone toward the various Points of Interest.

For all Points of Interest which displayed on the screen, corresponding information is shown at the bottom of the screen. By clicking on the Point of Interest, you see how you can interact with it. Use the map and list views to see all points in one screen. You can also adjust settings (like the range) by clicking the "i" icon in the camera view menu.
